Side two opens with, "If I Let Myself Go", a very melodic ballad which sounds like it could be a theme for a film soundtrack. The song features very well recorded dynamics and begins with an acoustic piano and bass guitar. The bass is recorded neatly, free of effects, which contrasts with the heavily synthesized bass lines inherent on the LP.  String and flute synthesizers add color and depth to the ballad as do the shades of tympanis.  King's vocals are recorded superbly exhibiting warmth and intimacy.
